Leading online sports betting operator, Bet365, has officially launched its services in Indiana. This marks an important milestone, making this the eighth state in the country to offer Bet365’s betting options. Following the recent launch, sports enthusiasts in the state can now set up their Bet365 accounts and engage in online betting.

This milestone sees Bet365 join a dozen other online sportsbooks in Indiana, further enhancing the betting options available to sports fans. As part of its entry into the Indiana market, Bet365 has partnered with the French Lick Resort, which means that it can adhere to the state’s regulatory requirement for online sportsbooks to have a land-based partner.

Welcome Offers and Expectations

With its launch, Bet365 has introduced a couple of welcome offers for new customers in Indiana. These are aimed at enticing sports bettors to try the platform. The offers are a choice between a ‘first bet safety net’ of up to $2,000 in bonus bets or an alternative offer where betting $5 can lead to receiving $150 in bonus bets.

Officials said that these promotions are designed to appeal to a wide range of bettors, from those who are new to betting to seasoned enthusiasts.

Bet365’s features, such as same-game parlays, cash out options, and the ability to edit bets, are designed to enhance the betting experience for Indiana sports fans. Also, the platform offers bet boosts, super boosts, and same-game parlay profit boosts across various sports and leagues, which are part of the operator’s aim to ensure competitive options and customer satisfaction.

A spokesperson for Bet365 said:

New and eligible sports fans in the Hoosier State, renowned for their passion and loyalty, can enjoy the Bet365 experience featuring market-leading offerings like amazing Bet Boosts, the fastest in-game product, and unique same-game parlays.

The partnership with French Lick Resort, which is part of a $600 million historic restoration and casino development project, reflects the operator’s strategic approach to its entry into Indiana. This collaboration not only ensures that Bet365 complies with local regulations but also enables the operator to benefit from partnering with a reputable and respected company.

The operator will now be in direct competition with a range of established brands, such as DraftKings, FanDuel, Caesars Sportsbook, and BetMGM. With DraftKings leading the way in terms of betting handle in December after taking $177.9 million in bets, Bet365 faces stiff competition in the state.

Outlook for Sports Betting in Indiana

Indiana’s sports betting market has experienced solid growth, with the Indiana Gaming Commission reporting over $503 million in gambling activity in December alone.

Despite a slight monthly decline, the market experienced 16.6 percent growth year-on-year. The adjusted gross revenue for sports betting for the same period was $50.64 million, equating to a monthly rise and an 18.52 percent increase year-on-year.

Bet365’s launch in Indiana is an important step in expanding the operator’s footprint in the United States. In addition, it enhances Indiana’s sports betting landscape, providing sports fans with more options when it comes to placing bets.
