It has been revealed that the leading sportsbook operator DraftKings is set to open its latest sports betting venue in Columbus, Ohio, on May 9, 2024. Located within the Short North Arts District, the establishment marks DraftKings’ second on-site location in the city. This will further solidify its presence in Ohio’s sports betting market.
In collaboration with Live! Hospitality & Entertainment, DraftKings is aiming to create a multisensory experience for patrons. The venue, which is named DraftKings Sports & Social, joins the PBR Cowboy Bar at Easton Town Center, which is also run by the betting giants, which opened its doors in February 2024.
Spanning an expansive 5,500 square feet, DraftKings Sports & Social promises a dynamic atmosphere for patrons, along with cutting-edge technology. Highlights include a state-of-the-art LED media wall stretching 37 feet, complemented by an array of high-definition TV sets.
Bettors aged 21 and above who have the DraftKings Sportsbook app can conveniently place their bets while enjoying a range of offerings at the new venues. There will also be daily fantasy sports challenges that are accessible via mobile devices, and this will provide even more excitement for enthusiasts.
DraftKings Sports & Social hopes to become a hub for local sports fans. Guests can look forward to live broadcasts of Ohio State, Columbus Crew, and Columbus Blue Jackets games. In addition, there will be appearances by regional celebrities and DJs.
The venue also offers interactive features such as in-game entertainment, fan cams, and audio-visual effects designed to provide an immersive experience for visitors. This will be coupled with exciting giveaways.

Patrons at the new establishment can enjoy a diverse lineup from DraftKings’ culinary partners. The menu boasts an impressive selection ranging from classic sports bar fare like burgers, sandwiches, and wings, to more eclectic options such as tacos, flatbreads, and salads, ensuring there’s something to cater to all tastes.
The grand opening of DraftKings Sports & Social on May 9 will take place at 9 pm. Operating hours will be from 11 am to 11 pm on Sundays to Wednesdays, and 11 am to 2 am on Thursdays to Saturdays.
The schedule aims to accommodate daytime and late-night bettors. The launch of DraftKings Sports & Social means more options for sports bettors in the area.
