One of the best-known properties on the famous Las Vegas Strip, the Venetian Casino and Resort, has recently announced improvements to its onsite sportsbook.

As part of a multi-year naming rights partnership with Yahoo, the sportsbook at the sprawling gaming resort has now been reopened and rebranded. There has also been a range of improvements made to the retail sports betting facility at the casino resort.

According to reports, the reopened sportsbook is now called the Yahoo Sportsbook and is operated by William Hill.

Following reports of the former sportsbook feeling dull and run down, there have been aesthetic and practical improvements made to the sports betting facility to go with its new branding, which means that sports fans who visit the venue will be able to look forward to a more enjoyable experience.

Redesigned to Create a Relaxed Space

According to officials from the Venetian, the sportsbook has been redesigned to create a more appealing and relaxing space.

The president and CEO of the casino resort, Patrick Nichols, said:

We wanted to create the best place on the Strip to watch sports. This redesign pulls through the relaxed feeling of watching a game with your friends – plush sofas, lounge chairs, great game-day eats with the convenience of betting powered by William Hill.

He added that the partnership with Yahoo meant that they could also offer additional perks and surprises for guests to look forward to, particularly during the football season and other upcoming major sporting events.

The president of Yahoo Sports, Ryan Spoon, expressed his excitement over the partnership. He said the company felt privileged to launch the sportsbook in partnership with the Venetian, and that it formed part of Yahoo’s ongoing commitment to sports fans.

Yahoo Sportsbook Offers Several Impressive Features

The new Yahoo Sportsbook now offers new seating areas along with video screens so that visitors can immerse themselves in the sporting action. In addition, there are more kiosks for those who want to place bets, and the area has been brightened up to add more visual appeal.

Officials believe that the renovation of the sportsbook will provide greater comfort for visitors as well as a more relaxed ambiance. This could help to bring in more bettors who want to be part of the action, particularly during the upcoming football season.

The new venue spans more than 12,000 square feet and comes with a 1,770 square foot video wall that can show dozens of different sports events simultaneously. The sportsbook will accommodate more than 100 seated guests on plush chairs and sofas, so guests can enjoy comfort as they enjoy the sporting entertainment.

There are also two fan caves at the renovated sportsbook facility, and these are designed for private groups of between 8-12 people who want a unique sports viewing experience.

The caves each come with 98-inch displays that are controlled by guests, and those who book the caves can benefit from a food and beverage service from Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer or Noodle Asia.
