The Prairie Band Casino & Resort is set to unveil the first tribal sportsbook in the state of Kansas, marking a historic moment for the property, which is located in Topeka, Kansas.

Operated by the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, the casino has forged a partnership with Kambi Group, a well-known and respected global sports betting services provider. The aim is to offer an exceptional sports betting experience to its patrons.

This development comes on the back of recent approval granted to Prairie Band Casino & Resort in 2023 for on-site sports wagering on tribal land. The launch will make history as the first tribal sports betting facility in the state of Kansas. The sportsbook’s operations will be enhanced by Kambi Group’s award-winning sports betting technology.

What the New Facility will Offer

As part of the multi-year collaboration, Kambi and Prairie Band Casino & Resort will integrate the new sportsbook within the huge 35,000-square-foot casino space at the property. According to a press release, the sports betting facilities will include ten kiosks and four bar top terminals.

Patrons can look forward to an exciting sports betting experience, including Kambi’s acclaimed Bet Builder product. The facility will provide sports fans with a chance to relax and immerse themselves in the sporting action while placing bets on their favorite teams and sports.

Kristian Nylen, CEO and Co-Founder of Kambi, described the move as a significant milestone, stating that the company was very proud to “…partner with Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation’s Casino and Resort as we continue to support tribes in their sports betting endeavors.” Nylen also stated:

Their successful and long-standing reputation in Kansas, combined with our award-winning sports betting technology, will create a one-of-a-kind experience for their current customers while also attracting a whole new demographic.

Chris Garrow, Director of Gaming for the Prairie Band Casino & Resort, also spoke about the partnership. He said that guests had provided many positive comments and questions last year when sports betting was legalized in the state.

Among those were questions relating to when the casino would start offering sports betting facilities. He said that casino officials were excited to be able to finally launch a retail sportsbook and cater to the growing number of people who were interested in this type of facility.

Kambi a Reliable Partner for Tribe

The casino’s decision to partner with Kambi means that it can benefit from the expertise of a reliable and reputable provider for the first tribal sportsbook in Kansas.

Kambi’s premium sports wagering services have become well-known across the world, and it currently has over 40 partnerships with leading wagering operators and state-of-the-art sports betting technology developed by a global team of more than 1,000 employees.

The Prairie Band Casino & Resort and the Kambi Group hope to be able to offer patrons an exceptional sports betting experience. This milestone represents a significant step in expanding sports wagering facilities within the state and demonstrates the casino’s commitment to providing a top-notch gaming experience to its visitors.
