DraftKings and UFC launch a new responsible gaming campaign, unveiling an advertisement featuring MMA commentator Jon Anik. The ad will be shown across multiple UFC events.

Jon Anik a Crucial Part of the Campaign

DraftKings and UFC have launched a new responsible gaming advertisement as part of their latest collaboration, featuring MMA commentator Jon Anik demonstrating the features of the DraftKings Responsible Gaming Center within the app.

Commentator Jon Anik delivers a “clear and compelling” message about responsible gaming in both the adverts. He highlights the key features of DraftKings’ Responsible Gaming Center, such as the My Stat Sheet tool.

UFC provides a tremendous platform to amplify that message to a broader audience. We’re proud to collaborate on this campaign to reinforce that responsible gaming is for everyone.”

A 15-second version of the advertisement will debut ahead of the UFC 316 ceremonial weigh-in on June 6, followed by a 30-second version airing twice during fight night on June 7. Additionally, the shorter ad will appear during the UFC 318 broadcast on July 19 and will be featured across social media platforms throughout the rest of the year.

DrafKings and UFC’s Relationship

UFC and DraftKings first joined forces in 2021, when DraftKings was named the company’s first official sportsbook and daily fantasy sports (DFS) partner in the US and Canada.

Earlier this year, DraftKings launched a multi-million-dollar responsible gaming campaign backed by branding partnerships with the NFL, NBA, and PGA Tour, featuring high-profile ambassadors such as LeBron James, Matt Leinart, and Paul Bissonnette.

In May this year, DraftKings released its full Q1 2025 financial results. They reported $1.41 billion in revenue for the quarter, a 20% year-over-year increase despite a net loss of $33.9 million.
