In a recent announcement, Circa Sports, a leading sports betting operator, unveiled its mobile betting app in Illinois along with a brick-and-mortar sportsbook in the state.

The latest venture makes Illinois the fourth state to welcome Circa Sports and it is also its most significant market, according to reports. The move will undoubtedly create a lot of excitement among sports fans across the state, particularly given its timing in the midst of the football season.

Leading the way with the expansion is Derek Stevens, the owner of Circa Sports. In addition to the mobile app launch, the company has also unveiled a physical sportsbook, which is the result of a partnership between Circa Sports and Full House Resorts, Inc.

This state-of-the-art facility is currently located in Full House Resorts, but will be relocated to the American Place in Waukegan when it opens. It is set to provide sports fans with an exciting environment to engage in sports betting.

A Monumental Milestone for Circa

Stevens recently spoke about the launch of the app and in-person sportsbook, adding that it was a huge achievement for the company.

He said that the debut of the sports betting facilities was a:

…tremendous moment for our company, and we are thrilled to have worked with this great state and Full House Resorts to bring the expansion to life. There’s nothing like a Midwest sports fan, and we know our product matches up with what they are looking for in a betting experience.

The new app aims to make it easy for sports fans to register, add funds, and place bets seamlessly from any part of the state.

Backed by a team of industry experts, the app is designed to offer excellent odds through its advanced low-hold model. In addition, Circa Sports is ensuring fairness by setting betting limits that remain consistent irrespective of a player’s experience or level.

With regard to the land-based sportsbook, visitors can look forward to a state-of-the-art betting facility complete with betting kiosks, ticket counters, and huge digital boards that display real-time odds. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the action with 36 television screens that will help to provide a more thrilling and exciting environment for bettors.

Alex Stolyar, Chief Development Officer for Full House Resorts, Inc., said that the launch of the Circa Sports sportsbook was a huge boon for visitors to the casino. He added that it would help to enhance the overall experience for casino visitors and sports fans.

Circa Enjoying Impressive Growth in United States

Since 2019, Circa Sports has seen impressive growth in the United States and continues to expand. It currently operates four satellite books in Southern Nevada, a physical sportsbook in the Legends Bay Casino in Nevada, and mobile platforms in Colorado and Iowa. Company executives have made it clear that further expansion is on the cards.

The forthcoming Illinois-based casino at the American Place will be situated in Waukegan’s Fountain Square district, boasting an impressive choice of 1,600 slot machines, 100 table games, and a dedicated sportsbook.
