Sports fans in Colorado now have another option available to them, as the official launch of the Barstool online sportsbook in the state has taken place. The Barstool sportsbook is now live, and this means that sports fans can look forward to placing bets via the operator alongside the other sportsbooks that are already available in the state.

Barstool has already enjoyed success with its sportsbook after launching in other states around the country. The Colorado launch has provided fans with access to a range of special introductory offers and promotions as well as competitive odds and more.

With the sportsbook already having a solid reputation and strong customer base, it is expected to achieve success in Colorado despite the stiff competition.

A Competitive Market

The sports betting market in Colorado is already competitive, so the Barstool sportsbook joins what is already a very crowded market in the state. However, despite this, many believe that the sportsbook will quickly become one of the top options in the area.

The timing for the launch is also notable, as it is just weeks from the 2021 NFL season. This means that the sportsbook will already have a ready audience and plenty of people eager to place their bets.

While the sportsbook will have to compete with big names such as FanDuel and DraftKings, it has already gained a lot of recognition among sports fans, so many believe that it will have no problem attracting new customers. The various introductory promotions will also help to bring more customers on board.

Last year saw the sports betting operator launch its first ever retail sportsbook in the country at Ameristar Black Hawk Casino in the state.

When the first retail sportsbook was launched, Penn National Gaming President and CEO Jay Snowden, said:

This will be the first of many new retail locations for Barstool Sportsbooks at our casinos nationwide. Each will incorporate several features that reflect the spirit of the Barstool Sports brand, resulting in unique sports betting experiences that we expect our customers will thoroughly enjoy.

The announcement that the mobile app and site had gone live was made at the start of the week, and it marks the fifth state where the sportsbook has now launched.

Plans for Continued Expansion

The sportsbook operator has made it clear that it plans to enter other markets over the course of this year, which means that it will continue to expand across the nation. This includes expansion into Philadelphia and Chicago with branded Barstool sports bars, where fans can enjoy a superior experience and the chance to relax.

It has also been announced that Penn National Gaming is set to acquire the Toronto digital media and sports betting company, theScore. This is being acquired as part of a deal that involves $2 billion in stock and cash. In addition, the sportsbook will be launched in Tennessee, Arizona, and New Jersey later this year.
