It has been revealed that Bally’s Corporation has forged a partnership with Elite Casino Resorts in Iowa. The multi-year access deal will allow fans in the state to enjoy the thrill of mobile sports betting with Bally’s, with the mobile site being licensed by the Elite Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort.

The move comes after Bally’s came to an agreement to acquire BetWorks, a sports betting technology platform.

The new sports betting partnerships mean that Bally’s will be able to establish itself in the state of Iowa, and that its presence will extend to eleven states in total. However, Iowa is the first state where it will be running an online platform in order to establish itself rather than a brick-and-mortar facility.

Entering a Market Access Agreement

Officials from Bally’s said that its normal method of entry would be through an owned casino, but on this occasion a market access agreement seemed like the best move. This is because of the speed at which the market is moving, among other things. In addition, the company said that this is a method that it does use on occasion when warranted.

President and chief executive officer of Bally’s Corporation, George Papanier, said that the corporation was excited to form the partnership with Elite. He added:

We currently operate sportsbooks in Rhode Island, Colorado, Delaware, Mississippi, and soon will be in Atlantic City. Entering the Iowa gaming market with our new, integrated sports betting and iGaming company is very exciting and we look forward to the launch in 2021.

The launch of the new sportsbook in the state will provide sports fans with more options when it comes to betting on their favorite sports and teams.

It has been a particularly difficult year for fans due to the closure of casinos and retail sportsbooks, along with the temporary shutdown of the world of live sports. Online sports betting has, however, provided opportunities for fans to continue betting.
