About Turning Stone Hotel
Turning Stone Resort Casino opened its doors more than 25 years ago, back in July 1993. It's owned and operated by the Oneida Indian Nation and as such is legally an Indian casino. As you could expect, it's not operated by a stock exchange listed company. The resort has multiple buildings, including four different hotel grounds, a golf course, pools and spa. Back in the day, due to disagreements between the tribe and the state, it wasn't able to offer its visitors any alcohol but in 2007 it settled its differences and the liquor ban was lifted. In addition, smoking is allowed on premises, with no-smoking zones established in various areas of the resort.
