Sadly, you won't find a direct airport shuttle, however, pick up the AirTrain from Terminal 4 to Jamaica Station, change to the Hempstead line for Queens Village, pick up the Q110 at Hempstead Ave/217 Ln to Belmont Park/Hempstead Av and with a ten-minute walk, you'll be at the racetrack.
  • Parking

    Parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis. Parking fees are at the discretion of management throughout the racing season. Parking is available in the Silver Preferred lot after entering Gate 5 from Hempstead Turnpike at the cost of $5. A courtesy shuttle bus is available on select race days.

About Belmont Park Racetrack Hotel

Belmont Park Racetrack began in 1902 as a vision for a syndicate headed by August Belmont II and former secretary of the Navy, William C Whitney, who wanted to buy land to build the most elaborate track in America. The grand opening was 4th May 1905 when more than 40,000 fans attended.

Several improvements have been made to enhance the guest experience including the installation of hundreds of HD televisions across the property. Belmont is home to the Belmont Stakes, the third leg of racing's Triple Crown, and has been a stage for many of racing's great legends, for example, Man o' War and Seabiscuit.
