About Monmouth Park Hotel

The Monmouth Park racing brand dates back to the 1870s when events were held at Long Branch. This track closed in 1873. It was reopened in 1882 but closed again in 1884 due to a ban on horserace betting. The current racetrack opened in 1946. The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority acquired the brand in 1986 but continued the flagship traditional races like Monmouth Cup.

After the legalization of sports betting in 2018 Monmouth Park announced a partnership with William Hill to open their brick-and-mortar sportsbook. Today, Monmouth Park is an all-round family entertainment venue with restaurants, beer garden, children horse riding and a sports bar.
