About Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment Hotel
Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment started as Meadowland Racetrack in the 1970s. It is called the 'Big M' by the locals. Harness racing started in 1976, and thoroughbred racing in 1977. The racetrack holds horseracing events the year-round.
It has since become part of the Meadowlands Sports Complex as other sports are hosted in venue as well, notably football and motorcycle racing.
