Back in 1990, when the casino resort was created, it was named Trump Taj Mahal. Named after its owner, the Hard Rock casino resort in Atlantic City has undergone many changes, the most important of which has happened in 2016. The casino closed, and only the café didn't stop working. But in 2017, Hard Rock International announced their purchase and the casino opened once again in June 2018.
