About Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ Hotel

The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa was first opened back in July 2003 as a joint venture between MGM Mirage (NYSE: MGM) and Boyd Gaming (NYSE: BYD), towering over Atlantic City as the third tallest building. The casino was part of a major initiative dubbed “The Tunnel Project”, which saw the construction of a tunnel that would feed traffic directly into the Marina district.
