About Luxor Hotel

Famous for its pyramid shape the Luxor Las Vegas casino and hotel opened its doors in October 1993. At the time, it was the tallest building on the strip and had the largest atrium space in the world. Since that time, it has been long surpassed but it's still a sight to behold. The initial property owner was the Circus Circus Enterprises (last known as Mandalay Resort Group, now defunct) but in 2005 shifted ownership to MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM). Since then, Luxor has undergone a renovation and expansion in 2008.

Luxor Amenities

Originally the Luxor had around 2,200 rooms but over the years, two additional buildings have been added to the property to increase its capacity. Furthermore, there are various restaurants available with exquisite views and plenty of bars to keep you entertained.
