Dan Holmes - Contributor
You can’t point your browser on the Internet without bumping into a betting manifesto written by Dan Holmes. Since his first words were published on the Internet in the early 1990s (yes, really), Holmes has gained steam as a betting expert and observer of the sports betting industry.
More About Dan
Dan Holmes would rather scribble recipe ideas on a betting slip than any other random piece of paper. He has more than three decades of experience writing for the Internet, and more than a decade in sports betting. His articles have appeared on dozens of websites, and he’s written more than half a million words for the web.
Dan previously worked for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, and Major League Baseball Advanced Media. He’s interviewed baseball legends, and written about sports ranging from bowling to disc golf. He once played Texas Hold ‘Em with Hall of Fame third baseman George Brett.
When Dan isn’t writing about sports, casinos, and betting, he enjoys running, kickboxing, and eating lemon bars. He is a strong believer in the Oxford Comma, pragmatism, and artificial turf.
How Dan Joined Betting.us
Dan began covering casino gambling and sports betting in earnest in 2017. He’s written articles on casinos and table games, as well as sportsbooks and sports for dozens of websites on two continents. He enjoys working with the staff and editors of Betting.us
