About Harrah's Philadelphia Hotel

Harrah's Philadelphia started out as a racetrack back in the early 2000s. In late 2006 was the year when it received a slot operator license and it opened up its doors in January 2007. From there on out, it has gone through a few changes, namely including live table games in 2010, changing its name from Harrah's Chester to Harrah's Philadelphia and swapping ownership from Caesars Entertainment to Vici Properties (a subsidiary of Caesars). To date, the land and property are owned by Vici, the real estate company while management is still done by Caesars.
